The Smile on My Face

The smile on my face

My laugh makes you smile.

And your smile makes me glow.

How lucky I am to have you,

You may never know.

You may never know the smile on my face

Is because you trip on twigs.

It’s because you hum lullabies,

It’s because you’re sloppy with ribs.

You may never know the smile on my face

Is from you childish ways.

It’s from your skrewy one liners.

It's from your exaggerated praise.

Your laugh makes me smile.

And my smile makes you beam.

I pinch myself a time or two

To check if its a dream.
