SiNg WiTh Me
When you speak to me,
breathe sweet words into my ear drums through
the sound waves in every verse and chorus,
you touch me,
spill life into an empty soul,
sending floods of euphoria and craving into my being
A tingling chill rushes down my spine,
the core temperature of my body rising,
goosebumps and tiny hairs raising on bare flesh,
standing to attention
Making me want to dance with you,
want to sing with you,
want to love the silhouette of a man
I have never truly known.
