I look forward to the day

For the truth that is desired.

The way we, as people should see ourselves.

 

As humans.

Not women, nor men.

Not black, nor white

Not at all based on sight.

 

Bust instead by our souls.

 

I look forward to the day

When we can all say:

"Share if you are strong."

 

Because our biases are wrong.

 

Because underneath our skin

We are the same. We are kin.

We are human.
