Chains Chains Chains Chains
Call for a need of change
Born free
Every child learns how to wear the manacles
How to chain their minds to someone else's paradigm
How to live with bent backs
Burdened with the weight of society
Told they are important
Yet easily forgotten in the masses
Learning to live with invisible scars
Taught from the home how to bear the whip
Taught by the world how to bear the whip
How to inflict control
How to use pain towards personal gain
How to yank the chains
They yank the chains...
55 percent of all American students gain a college degree
Less than 55 Percent realize they wear chains
Less then that attempt to take them off
Less then that succeed
Less then that help to free others
The rest remain within the gang
Keep living chain to chain
Keep living chain to chain
