I want to write a poem

To the days that will not be

For the times we only wish

That we all could live in peace

I would dedicate this poem

To the beauty that is rare

And only seen from eyes that venture

Where no one else would dare

This poem would be for those

Who take this life for what it’s worth

Who make it through the darkest times

To live another day on earth

This poem is for the creatures

Who know not all is well

But still make every day they’re best

To try and find a light in hell

Perhaps one day this dream will live

To know we have a clear perception

Of what it means to be a human being

And free our sense of world perfection
