A Peace Like No Other
Daily life
can be so tiring
You never have the chance
to think
People dictate
your every move
Technology dictates
your every word
So now
more than ever
We have to
stop
We have to stop
and breathe
Because when will
we get another chance?
There is
a certain calm
That comes
with breathing
A soft blanket
covering your body
Or a breeze in your hair
rippling the pond
It is peace
pure and unadulterated
That comes with stopping
and thinking
To be intentional
is to be at peace
To be untethered from the noise
is to be calm.
