Painful Plague

Bullies don’t understand how I feel,
They do not try to comfort,
But instead, confidence they steal.
All bullying seems to do is distort.
My soul is burning,
I need to run.
To me it is concerning,
Not a bunch of fun.
A push and a shove,
Mean a lot at heart.
But a good amount of love,
Makes a good relationship start.
Every day I am full of fear,
From the pain I feel inside.
It makes me shed a tear,
To think of those who try to hide.
Some victims of it get hurt,
Scratched and bruised.
Others get burnt,
Isolated and abused.
Several get manipulated,
And told bad things,
Bullying isn’t rated,
By how bad it stings.
My many tries,
To get bullying to quit,
In my eyes,
Have not quite fit.
Bullies don’t understand how I feel,
They do not try to comfort,
But instead, confidence they steal.
All bullying seems to do is distort.
My soul is burning,
I need to run.
To me it is concerning,
Not a bunch of fun.
A push and a shove,
Mean a lot at heart.
But a good amount of love,
Makes a good relationship start.
Every day I am full of fear,
From the pain I feel inside.
It makes me shed a tear,
To think of those who try to hide.
Some victims of it get hurt,
Scratched and bruised.
Others get burnt,
Isolated and abused.
Several get manipulated,
And told bad things,
Bullying isn’t rated,
By how bad it stings.
My many tries,
To get bullying to quit,
In my eyes,
Have not quite fit.
