Not A Moment Too Soon

Your armor of light,

Is no match for my darkness.

No matter how hard you fight,

You cannot save my soul's rotting carcass.

Wondering if I'm right,

I stare up to the moon;

Wishing to end this life,

And not a moment too soon.

I pray for love,

Yet feel so much hate.

Now I've had enough;

Savior, you're too late.

Wondering what life is,

I stare up to the moon;

Begging to escape this,

And not a moment too soon.
