He stands alone
Fighting to hold it together, but he's already breaking
Crying the tears that no one should have to shed
Using black to help conceal the pain so red

Asking himself at the end of each day
What it is about him that made him deserve to be treated this way
Maybe the luxury of love just isn't for the lip-ringed and leathered
And hate's left him to die on the edge

We are the nameless and forgotten
We are the nameless and forgotten
We are the nameless and forgotten

Who is she?
Under the layers of labels, the girl underneath is hard to see
Every word they say hits her flesh like a knife
Hurting her beacause of what she looks like

Asking herself at the end of each day
What is was she'd done to deserve to be treated this way
Maybe friends are just a fairy tale and in the end aren't real
And leave you here to die on the edge

We are the nameless and forgotten
We are the nameless and forgotten
We are the nameless and forgotten
