To My Descendants

To my descendants:

When I arrived in this role I had been given, love was blossoming in many ways.

People were just learning to love people for who they are, what they are.

I want you to realize that love is grand in itself. Love is… you.

I’ll admit that I fell victim to sadness and loss of fun.

That I never really appreciated everything that came into my life.

This life of mine, this life that is yours, make it for what it can be.

All of this can be something you never thought was possible,

Anything, you can indeed achieve- anything possible.

To my descendants,

Never forget this, always know and please believe.

Beauty lives in you.

I am proud of you.

I love you.
