My Dandelion

Location

They see a pretty face

Divine beauty insurmountable to replace

I see her angel kiss freckles

Untainted worth no amount of empty shekels.

The strongest flower my naked eyes have seen

They call her the golden summer queen.

A flower of a differential kind

Without her I would be forever blind.

The angel of flowers came down to Earth

To blossom the world with her heavenly worth.

When I was little I would blow them out

Wishing to meet a soul like hers with no doubts.

Dandelion, you resemble the sun, moon, & stars

If it weren’t for you I’d be in this constant battle with revealed scars.
