Music Has No Boundaries

Often, my sister asks me a common question:

Why do I listen to KPop if I can't understand them?

I always tell her it's because I like how their music sounds.

But, why should it matter if I listen to music from around the world?

What matters is not the language or words, but the emotion.

Look at us Americans; we have all sorts of songs.

So many different genres, but we still all get along.

We have Rock, Pop, Country, and Soul;

We have Latino, Religious. Need I say more?

Music shouldn't be bashed on, no matter who sings it.

No genre should be looked down upon

Just because you can't understand it.

The next time you come across a song you can't understand,

Give it a real chance, listen to it, and be open-minded.
