Moving on Without You

When the rain stops

And the sun drops

Below the horizon line

Do not forget the time we shared

Or how I held your hand in mine

But when the sun shines

In your lovers eyes

Don’t say how sweet mine were

Let the hazel light fade to white

And let your eyes see her

For I know you hate to admit you’re wrong

Though you know it wasn’t right

How you kissed me to our favorite song

And kissed them that same night

So I’m letting go of what we had

And what that was I’ll never know

But I know I loved you, good and bad

And somehow you let me go

So when the snow is gone

And you’ve moved on

I will try my hardest to.

But letting go and moving on

Are harder without you
