Mommy, they're coming for you, too.

Mommy, look at me, look what I can do.
Say any word and I'll spell it, I'm smart just like you.

I'm sorry I was bad. You hate me? Is that true?
I promise I'll be better, Mommy, tell me what to do.

Look, I organized the cupboards, exactly like you do.
Stayed up late to get it right, there's still so much to do.

Mommy, I can't stop, things are out of order in my room.
I can never get it right, doesn't that scare you, too?

Are you angry? Am I in trouble? I'm mad at myself, too.
It's all wrong, I can't breathe, Mommy, hold me like you do.

I can't sleep at night, Mommy, there's just so much to do,
the door's too open, now it's too shut, I can't sleep in this room.

Mommy, I'm hearing voices, don't you hear them, too?
What's happening? I'm scared. Can't I sleep with you?

Please, don't send me back, not alone, not without you,
they're coming, they told me, Mommy, trust me, this is true.

Don't hurt me, don't be mad, I hate all these voices, too
but I can't stop, they got me, Mommy, they're coming for you, too.
