I don’t understand

I can’t comprehend

How happiness and sadness go hand in hand

In my wildest dreams; when I am lost in thought

My emotions are intertwined in a knot

I can’t stop thinking

My mind is constantly racing-

Faster than a Nascar zooming past a crowd

I hear a voice in my head getting loud

My mind is multi-tasking; but I can’t seem to control it

It's like a horse without reins; good luck trying to control it.

Deep down you may feel something

But appear to be different

i f only I could experience what someone else was feeling 

So I can finally get it.
