Lord can you see me, Lord can you hear me
I thought you knew what it's like to be me
Maybe not, well I feel like I got caught
Right on this earth, where I will rot
I just wanna know what it's like way up there
Do you have room to spare
I'll be good I swear
This place is to much to bare
How can I get there, is it by prayer
Don't you care that this life isn't fair
I just feel like this life isn't real
I just want my last meal, you know the deal
I'm stuck down here, and there's nothing I can do
The whole point of my life, I wish I knew
I'm imprisoned in this body, and I can't get out
I want to leave this place, I'm just taking up space
I know I don't know the plan, but let me out if you can
I can't take no more, I hate being poor
Give me wings so that I can soar
Far far away, away from this war

My community
My country
Our world
