I'm on a little boat
Which was never meant to set sail.
I'm on a little boat,
It is anchored by the bay.

From where I greet you every day.

But the anchor won't hold.

And I'm letting go of the dock.

From which hangs a rope,
Which, if you wanted
You could hold.

I'm sailing away.
I'm not even aware,
But I'm sailing away.
Will you be even aware
If I'm not here today?
Please, hold the rope
Before it's too late.
Before the wave comes
And takes me
On my little boat
Away.
