Life's a roller coaster,
filled with highs and lows,
but some things,
you just have to let go.
Depression's a battle,
one I have fought,
I know it well,
but I'm not an afterthought.
I'm not always okay,
but who ever is?
I'm going to be myself,
not care what someone says.
Besides, I have my friends
to help when times get tough,
I believe in me,
and, for me, that's enough.
