Life goes on

Location

I thought I heard your voice last sunday

the raspy tone I know all too well

I thought I saw your soul last sunday

running along where the spirits dwell

I went to see your mom last sunday

fresh dried tears upon her rosy cheeks

I went to see your mom last sunday

there was sadness in her voice as she tried to speak

I thought about your dad last sunday

What would he say if he saw you there?

I thought about your dad last sunday

Oh the kind stories you’d share

I went to see you off last sunday,

you left the world before your time

I went to see you off last sunday

Wherever you are, you will always be mine.
