Kinda Funny How That Works Out

You know when your dad decides to move out on a whim?

Yeah, then it's confirmed that you hate him

He takes the dog, something that was keeping you hopeful, oh Willow

Then you want to hurt him with something more than a pillow

It's kinda funny how that's works out, isn't it?

Feeling like you've been kicked, punched and bit

But only figuratively

But only abusive verbally

You know when your mom gets let go of her job because of Karen?

One small thing, might as well have been fired for no reason

Now the budget's even tighter

Things aren't getting brighter

Kinda funny how that works out, isn't it?

Feeling like a catastrophic collision hit

But only in my mind filled with worries

Is this what they called anxiety?

You know when you just spend hours listening to music?

Faouzia, SVRCINA, Nathan Wagner, and things by Tommee Profitt

They comfort you with powerful voices and words even more so

They calm you down even when the future is something you don't know

No, you don't know, because it didn't happen to you

It happened to me, and all of this is true

Thought I wish it wasn't somedays, it has it's moments

But hey, at least I'm not homeless
