I'm not pretentious, just jaded.

My individuality is
Locked in a little box.
My insane attempts to maintain a higher status-quo
Shoot me and throw me down a fiery hole.
What the heck am I saying?!
I’m surrounded by family and central heating in
“A luxury resort, sans needy ex-boyfriends.”
With all the love in my family’s heart,
The revelry should never end.
If feelings are sins, I’m eternally confounded.
If my inner turmoil eats me away,
How do soldiers find strength to seize the day?
