I want you

I want you

to smile and laugh

to relish in the sunlight

and love by the moonlight.

I want you

to visit my dusty bookshelf

and read my favorite book

and try to understand why it speaks to me.

I want you

to tell me about your demons

and all those lonely skeletons

collecting space in your closet.

I want you

to take me into your arms

as my world falls apart

and promise me better days to come.

For all of this

my repayement will be a promise

that I will always want you.
