I need my phone

I need my phone.

Yes I'm addicted,

But I need it.

What if someone text me,

Or messages me on Facebook,

Or maybe sends me a snapchat.

I need it.

I need it to show people my pictures.

I need it to calculate how much of something I have.

I need it to listen and rock out to my music.

I need it.

I need it when I feel uncomfortable,

Not sure what to do or where to put my hands.

I need it when my friends are having a tough time and need someone to talk to.

I need it to show the people that might want to harm me that I'm in contact with someone and able to call 911.

I need it.

Yes I'm addicted,

But I need my phone.

This poem is about:

Need to talk?
