I Just Need Answers Please

Martin didn't "die" for us.
You see, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated.
Unfortunately this heroic man was so hated.
Why?
Because he wanted equal rights?
What if Dr. King and others didn't fight?
Where would we be?
No intergrated schools, probably not even colored folks on T.V
What about the buses?
We would still sit in the back, and you know why?
Only because we're black.
Why are we being attacked?
Is it because of our skin?
If we all get stabbed, the same red blood is deep within.
Why are we arguing? Why are you killing our women and men?
Why do so many people believe that having darker skin is a sin?
Please answer my questions, I need answers now.
Talking to the elderly I just want to ask them "How?"
How did you do it?
How did you survive?
How many times have your loved ones cried?
How were you so strong?
How did you still believe?
Can someone answer my questions? I just need answers please.
