I am His Daughter

Wed, 02/11/2015 - 14:21 -- am7597

Sometimes the cloud makes it hard to think

There are thoughts rushing through my mind

People telling me who I should be

What I should wear

How I should look

I think I'm not good enough

That's what the world tells me

So doesn't that make it true?

Your hair isn't straight

You have crooked teeth

You don't have the right clothes

Your thighs are too big

Who is the world to dictated how I should look, who I should be

Who are they to tell me what to wear

Their opinion makes no difference

I am a daughter of the one TRUE King

God made me in His image.

I am not of this world

To Him I am perfect; I am wonderfully made

He doesn't care if I wear designer jeans

To Him it's not important if I wear my hair just right

Because in His eyes I am flawless

In His eyes, I'm enough.
