These hands delve into the ground to remake what I once found
When I was better and my conscience was light as a feather
I made this as empty as I feel, but now I'm not alone
I am a weight eroding those
Those who are near
And I don't deserve to grow
Not for myself but for those who were around
Around when I shelved any sense I had
For so long, so so long and ice melted
And even glaciers became puddles

These hands draw a beautiful picture without the experience to match
When I imagine what I want to see and sketch
I know where they reside, where they stay
I see them behind my eyes
Those pictures live behind my lids
And I act blind
Not with the purpose of hurting anyone around
Around when i was lost and palms scared
For the times I couldn't amount
The times I couldn't even draw

Nothing is as beautiful as what I couldn't do
I'm sorry I did this to you and you and you
