So scared and diminutive

she looked craddled in that corner...

completely unresponsive

with short quick spasms

to let us know she was still here.

this could have all been avoided of course,

if she hadn't pushed her limits.

"she dreamed too big.." some would

say as they pushed by,

almost as if unknowing of her

presence among them .

and in a way, it was true.

she carelessly flung herself

at the first opportunity,

and now look what happened.

"Poor dearie, she"ll never get them back..."

One said as they passed by.

But this she heard,

and an overwhelming passion

watered her eyes,

and a turbulent amount of courage

flowed through her heart!

she knew she had to gut back to her feet,

sending an electric gasp through the crowd

as she did.

"I WILL GET THEM BACK!"

she screamed at her audience...

"I WILL GET MY WINGS BACK!!!"
