Euelegy to Peter Pan from Captain Hook

Tick Tock

Tick Tock

I'm unaccustomed to the silence

His pipes no longer play the songs of youth.

Phantom pains awaken

in the place my heart was meant to be

to mock the emptiness that is my purpose here.

I was the embodiment of night

the reconciliation of previous mischiefs

He was the embodiment of day

Inspiration of hapiness

What becomes of the world when the sun no longer

awakens.

Must I reside in the emptiness

Must I exist without my counterpart

Why did I desire your demise over our divine purpose

to balance the good and evil of life

Peter

I thought you would live forever.
