Drunk (part 2)

It's never is your intention

But it happened nevertheless.

Now your joyous arrival

Leaves me in distress.

I am angry with reason

I am sad with distress

I am disappointed with hope

I am masked by relief.

Yet you won't know

You won't remember

That my fragile heart you broke.

What was shattered you took

You stumbled on it

Leaving pieces unfixable,

Unidentifiable at all.

However it is not me you owe

An apology that will come slow.

Yes you hurt me,

But you hurt someone else more.

Her heart in tatters at your slurs,

Her heart in tatters at your actions,

Her heart in tatters at my reaction.
