Dear Stranger
Dear stranger,
I look like you, talk like you
I'm not in the street
Asking for a fraction of your salary
I'm not up in the schools
Waving a gun
At kids that arn't old enough
To resight their A, B, C's
See me getting a degree
Loving my family
Just like you, stranger
I see a doctor,
For my body and my mind
This temple can not function
Without brain infrustructure
So don't judge me
I'm just like you
Mental illness is real
It isn't an excuse
I am not dangerous
I will not attack you
I am already attacking myself
with weapons of mass destruction
I don't need a stranger
asking for the proof
I'm not "havnig a bad day"
Major depression is not the blues
Try to understand
this mind's a broken arm too
