I've got a club, it fits just two
Consists of only me and you;
I got your back, you've got mine
Make sure no man is left behind.
Up in a fort with winter chills,
Pirate adventures, and epic thrills;
I have you, and you have I-
Together the limit is not just the sky.
Growing up, when we aren't in arms reach,
Where people don't get that you hate the beach.
They call you names, and say you’re no good
Sadly, you moved to a different neighborhood.
Whenever the world tries to keep you down,
Remember our castle journeys where you wore the crown.
You wear your heart on your sleeve now and no longer a pup.
I tell you to smile and keep your head up.
Yes, people are nasty, some are most cruel;
They'll make you an outcast and feel like a tool.
Love was not easy-- yet the timing was right,
The friends that we were, changed at first sight.
They left you alone, took the money you made.
It seemed no one was there from place where you laid.
I found you again, when we were both old.
Retelling a wonderful tale I was told.
"I've got a club, it fits just two
Consists of only me and you
I got your back, you've got mine
Make sure no man is left behind"
It isn't that much, but I know when we die
We'll see each other in our little clubhouse in the sky.
