Breaking things impossible to break

I can't see it, but I can see what it does.
It gets under your skin; it overflows your veins.
It dissects minds, sorting through your fears and your dreams.
Manipulating your decisions, poisoning your beliefs.
It backs you into the corner until you have nowhere to go.
It kills off your life lines until you have no one left to call.
Destroying everything you planned to achieve.
It's one of those things you can't escape.
Stealing things that shouldn't be stolen.
And breaking things that are impossible to break.
I've never seen love die, but I've seen love massacre.
Who knew all this happened the moment you said you loved her?
