Being black

Bieng black is like being  labeled as bad

As if there's a choice about your color of skin

As if you could cahnge it like 1,2,3

A battle that seems like it cannot be winned

It time to see

Being black means being intitled to many and more things

Being powerful in more ways than you could thing

Being black means respecting your skin

Being involved

Searching for problems amoungst your fellow brothers and sisters

And making dead on sure the get solved

Back then; if you said something you'de get a variety of blisters

They had no names you had to call them "mister"

Times had changed

Things got better but really their mindsets are still the same

I wish more things would change

Like the way were seen cause wre exqusite human beings

Being black means history is running through your vanes

AND THAT HISTORY INVLOVES BRINGING CHANGE

FIGHTING FOR WHAT IS RIGHT

NOT GIVING UP AT ANY SIGHT

BEING BLACK IS LITT
