The Beholder

Location

They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but what if that view is fallacious?

Lets say the intentions of the photo or words were not to be beautiful but instead to be malicious.

You see filters in a sense have just become overrated,

Marring the identity of the individual just to get likes and have their egos inflated.

You see myself, I adore the skin that I am in, the words that I speak, the beauty that I posses,

For everyone should understand that you are a gift and shouldn't have to undress or flaunt your assets.

I refuse to allow Instagram to simply depict my indescribeable beauty,

Because I realized that I can post a picture with no filter and understand that the beholder is me.
