Morning bells boom betwixt lofting ashes and

Unsheathed blokes razing the town;

Pirates about pillaging and raping

As they please;

Militia have fled the town.

Morning bells strike as the hanging and

Morning tea has just awoken in the kingdom;

Redcoats doing as Master wishes

As He pleases;

Townsfolk have fled the kingdom.

Morning bells chime through bustling markets and

Untethered citizens in the nation;

People barter and mingle with

Their own request;

Dictators and scoundrels flee the nation.

“I think there’s some connection between

Absolute discipline and absolute freedom”
