Among The Stars
You are the Earth's most stunning mytery.
Scientists have tried to figure you out.
Under a shade you hide your history,
Nobody seems to know what you're about.
I guess you think you're being humble,
Covering your pain with rays of sunshine.
So no one has to see your heart crumble;
So no one has to know what's on you mind.
I wonder if it ever tires you,
Having to wear that heavy mask all day.
You pretend that the sky is always blue.
Although you are trapped in a planet of grey.
But some nights the vast sky takes you elsewhere,
Among the stars, to a place free of dispair.
