Afraid to sneeze

Fearing death is like fearing a sneeze

After it’s over, people will turn their heads

Some will say bless you

Even those who never knew you

They will nod their heads

Perhaps some concern

But It will only last a moment

Eventually heads will turn back around

Life will resume as normal

And soon enough they will forget

That you ever sneezed

The truth is

that everyone will sneeze someday

Whether it be allergies, a sickness, or perhaps the dust left behind.

Cleaning out the attic of the past

Remembering sneezes of the past

Only to turn your head once more

Turn it to the sun

And focus on what lies ahead

No one fears a sneeze

Unless they think they’re next
