1. You will feel so sore the next day that you're entire body will feel like a bruise, and people will notice.

2. The numbness, both emotionally and physically, can last for days or even weeks depending on your skills with repressing feelings.

3. Everyone has a bad crash story and they'll tell you so you won't feel alone.

4. Some days, you still feel alone.

5. Turns out you don't walk away from having your head smash the window without some scars on your face, but you'll learn to love them.

6. Your body will heal faster than your mind.

7. Everyone will expect you to be over it in about two weeks.

8. You will not be over it, not in the slightest.

9. The sounds of glass breaking and tires squealing will keep you up at night, you won't be able to fully relax in a car, and best of luck when the flashbacks hit you in the middle of class.

10. You heal. It won't feel like it, not for a while, but you'll recover from this and be stronger. Be patient.
