Unnoticed
Not one could conceive
Such incapable instant
Merely just a fair boy
Average as the corner store
Which not a shining soul laid eyes upon
Prolonged lectures passed his hours
Out he mindlessly strolls
Past the numb flowers,
Into the store where one rolls
And lights the drug
Lingering hours are now gone
His days agonize from grief no more
Hours in school are merely four
Once the only cause to indulge,
His dose is more than to ignore
Forgotten completely his school,
The mind now dull,
The body grows old,
What was once just for fun
Has his life checked off
Now that fair boy
Who lived near the corner store
Showed not a sock, not a toy
Left open his cabin door
Left hanging his innocent toes
