Poems about Animals
You are like a sunbeam at midnight:
a chance encounter.
Your breath on my skin
is a sweet summer memory.
Man’s Best friend,
Loyal companions,
And Selfless animals.
These are the adjectives
that describes a dog.
The False One laid out his offering for the Children.
He laid out His Goods on a gilt rug at the top of a Stair.
You don't know me; we've yet to meet.
But you seem to know all about me.
Here's a story about a cup
lost and lonely was the cup
we found it sitting all alone
Let me tell you a story
Of an invisible horse
And a man who gained glory
For catching it, of course.
Apollo, a bird of mine,
He is noisy much of the time.
Unless he's sleeping, sitting on me.
Don’t call me weak,
because a movie can cost me a tear.
I can be emotional, so to speak.
