What Would I Change

Should I change my eyes? Would that change the way I see the world?

My hair, my height, or what I wear? No, that would that change how you view me.

What you see is what you get until you see that what you saw was incorrect.

If I could change one thing big or small I’d change the way society judges me.

We pass judgment without thinking.

We pass judgment before we seek to even try and get to know the people that we meet.

We’re bullied and ashamed to express the person that lies underneath.

I don’t want to be labeled.

I don’t want to be categorized.

My cover  is bound to me like a book.

Haven’t you heard the phrase, don’t judge a book by its cover?

Why if I could change one thing I’d change the way the world judges me.
