"I love you", I hear her say as a tear falls
down her cheek.
Her cheek
full of makeup that she uses
to hide the pain
like a mask.
If you look deep enough in those hazel eyes,
Freckles,
They crowd my face.
A new one always ready to join.
Sometimes.
I feel there is no more room on my face.
All my thoughts can amount to the dots on my face.
Some people appear to be "flawed"
but you don't see what their life has been like;
You don't see their pain, or their strugge, or their loss
