if i could offer you only one tip for the future, it would be to hug. don’t ever question if it’s okay to embrace your loved ones, it’s been proven that people love to love and to be loved.
I’ve really changed my thinking this year
Before, I was very self-critical,
A perfectionist
When things didn’t go right
Sunshine on a cloudy day
Memories made with friends
Interacting with my playful pup
Laughs that push the gray away
Enriched by a smile that will never end.
This is my happy place, where no one else can intrude,
This is my happy place, where characters are all of my own making
Man, woman, child, teen, mermaid, dragon, toaster
It doesn't matter here, because they're all mine
