I am a lotus, once grown in the dirty, filthy mud
A flower that resonates with the sun and the northern mountains filled with flood
I am a buffalo who is big, stubborn, dark-skinned, and slow
Well if they knew that we were political,
We'd be done for.
Because they helped build new york
But people from new york are broken themselves.
And in spite of their open arms
Every morning at the beginning of class
We all rise and stand as a mass
Pledging to our country's flag
But for many, it can become such a drag
To realize that we won't pledge any more
Skyscraper tall as mountains
Long highways as river
Cities crowded of people
Nation of the food
The best athletes
