It’s too hard to be around you
and know that you might know
but not know if you actually know
I had no warning
When I first met you
My mind would be centered
Around something new
You seemed to approach me
As a different friend
Now closer than ever
I don't want it to end
I watched from afar
Drenched in the downpour
Of rain?
Or tears from Heaven?
I watched from afar
Knowing a part of me
Has vanished into
Nothingness forever
I watched from afar
