And then run
run as fast as you can to escape this hellish world
and don’t look back
or you’ll be tied down
and you’ll regret it
Once upon a dead man’s dying wishMy war waging, a blade to my heartFriend’s we once called,I to youYou to IThen by what calamity bringsYou call to our loved ones,Justification, brittle
My hands were printed on the back of that glass
But my view faded from that car window
Don’t tell me about the notches on your belt though
I wake up before the sun,
Finish homework,
Pack a healthy lunch.

Leaving my nest on the daily to catch my worm
But I am not your usual early bird,
For I just never catch the worm.

Watching the world around me.

The water was clean, the water was clear
The water was felt and fell over her
Through her hair and to the nape of her neck
It ran down her shoulders, onto her back
Clear, clean, and cold it crept to her soul

You are beautiful and I hope you realize
They say the sky's the limit
But the Milky Way's got your name on it
It only gets better from here
So don't fear
Here we go again
The record players broken
Its hard to miss
Hearing all that’s unspoken
I’m sick of this
Waiting for the lights to go out
