The loss Hell took overEverything faded away   Love heals all wounds.   Sensing your presenceInch by inchGentle and understandingNever leaving my side.   The L Sign.
“You have to be strong.” Those were the words my mother said to me when I was most weak, When everything in my life seemed bleak.   As I was crying on the cold, hard ground,
I shouldn't find comfort Lying on this white bed, With its brick pillows, And wires attached to my body.   Alas, my knees were riddled with pain, Along with my ankles and wrists.
I shouldn't find comfort Lying on this white bed, With its brick pillows, And wires attached to my body.   Alas, my knees were riddled with pain, Along with my ankles and wrists.
I miss you, why did you leave me?  Was it time for you to go or was it just time for me to grow?  Did you know that you had to go?  Because I wasn't ready for the show. I wasn't ready for the pain.
It's visible now  and that scares me. "Just stay strong," they tell me, but lately, I'm not sure I know how.   This armor I have built is beginning to crack- crumble off my back.
Today was not a good day Tomorrw may be the same way But I must pray and pray And hope for a better day The pain I feel s rea without a doubt It affects me inside and out I did not ask for it
As I waited in bed I watched the frustration Then the anticipation As the the old aging man walked in With white vanilla hair  And the baby blue attire
Your pain is my pain. My pain is yours. We share that just like we share blood. Struggling to get up each morning. Praying that we make it through our day. We are our own warriors, in our own war.
Being diagnosed was tough Being unknown was worse. From here it can only get better, with the right tools and a little good luck. Optimism will be my guide. This will be with me forever
the first thing you should know is that I know you didn't plan for your life to be this way.  you were not a child who dreamt of life trapped in the four mint colored walls of a hospital room.
