As a person I would say school isn't for everybody and that's true to Know that I took twelve years of my life and
The class stands as one;
A uniform system perfected from years of repetiton
As the students recite their patriotic manifesto
The individuality that allows students to endure the day
They say we succeed
But we see no success
Just children still drowning
In their own stress
Forced conformity set for
Kids of all ages
Little do they understand
Dear Public Education,
I understand intensions,
schoolbook implications,
rubrics of attainment
and months of memorizations.
It is all hearty facts,
here some and then gone.
Lost in the shadows,
Confined to monotony,
Oh, what a curse!
What’s worse, there are things to be “learned” in this paralyzing prison.
“Learned?”, you may ask? Yes, “learned.”.
