Feet high
Alone I soared,
Alone in the sky,
Alone I sailed,
When reaching new heights,
New forces unveiled,
The icy wind's bite.
On the radio I hailed,
The horizon faded.
The ailerons, jaded.
The winds blew
fast and through.
The comms whirred.
Myself, concerned.
I clutched the yoke
and heard a croak.
She screamed down from the heavens with the power of god beneath her wings“I will fear no evil, for God is with meI will fear no danger, for God is with me
You're sitting in your seat awaiting to be projected into the air,
A fear comes over you but don't worry; I'm there.
I've inspected the parts that make up this contraption.
Bird, Alien?
Conspiracy, UFO?
Human?!
How long have humans been up there?
Just over a hundred years and its how safe?

That’s what it feels like this wild rush.
Adrenaline coursing.
Power crunching.
All under my hands, my wings.
Every saturday I awake at six in the morning.
The only way I can get out of bed is thinking of what lies ahead
I jump in my car and head down the road engine roaring.
As I arrive closer, I can see them above
