One of science’s problems
is that it’s just another religion.
Enshrouded the scientific tenets in dogma;
they’ve lost their cloak of precision
From the start we’re taught to memorize
The ideological echochambers created by our society
limit the human mind from gaining broader understandings of the world around it, of other humans.
Our society bases it's knowledge on the generalizations
sometimes i am so easily decieved
I believe what i wish to be true
and when the fantasies of my infancy are ripped from my grasp
I weep at the feet of misbeliefs past
for the comfort of lies
Growing up, I was trained just like a dog,
With a conscious as blurry as the deepest fog,
My tail wagged eagerly at the voices of authority,
Who convinced me that what school, church, and the news told me,
